DO NOT use quick oats or steel cut oats in this recipe, if you do it will need to be adjusted for the change of oats. Steel-cut oats need to be prepared differently than regular oats.
Quick Oats are smaller than Old Fashioned Oats making them cook much quicker.
The change of oats will affect the cooking time in this baked oatmeal recipe.
How do you make this oatmeal gluten-free?
In order to make this gluten-free, swap the oats for certified gluten-free oats.
This is the only swap needed to make this gluten-free.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal:
Remember that this recipe uses Pureed Pumpkin NOT Pumpkin Pie Filling. If you use Pumpkin Pie Filling, eliminate all of the additional spices in the recipe because it is already in the pumpkin.
Ramekins are used to make these oats. This is a great dish to have on hand when using your air fryer because it can be used for a variety of different baked goods that are made in the air fryer.
The ramekins are safe to use non-stick cooking spray on in order to avoid having the oatmeal mixture stick to the bottom.
This recipe will start with preheating the air fryer, then you will proceed with adding the ramekins to the air fryer to bake the oatmeal.
As with all machines, they heat differently so around the 10-minute mark check in on the oatmeal, and continue cooking to 12 minutes if needed. The internal temperature should be between 160°F-165°F to be considered done.
This can be checked with a food thermometer or simply by placing a toothpick in the deepest part to be sure it comes out clean.
This recipe will make 4 ramekins, which are 1/2 cup or 4oz. This is perfect for 2 or 4!

How do you store leftovers?
If you have leftovers, let the ramekins cool down to room temperature. Once they are cooled, transfer the baked oatmeal to a free-safe container. It’s also okay to store individual portions in a freezer-safe storage bag too.
Once in the airtight container, they can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
In the freezer, they can be stored up to 6 months.
When ready to reheat, simply place on a microwave-safe dish and reheat for 1-2 minutes in the microwave or in the air fryer at 350°F for 4-5 minutes.

Air Fryer Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal
Use simple ingredients to make Air Fryer Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal with wonderful flavors of fall!
- 4 4oz Ramekins
- 1 1/2 Cups Gluten-Free or Regular Old Fashioned Oats
- 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/8 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Whole Egg
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- Brown Sugar
- Powdered Sugar
- Chopped Walnuts
- Chocolate Chips
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
While the air fryer is heating, combine all ingredients in order into a large mixing bowl.
Whisk the ingredients well until combined.
Coat each ramekin with nonstick baking spray.
Evenly pour the oat mixture into each ramekin, this will fill up 4 4oz(1/2 cup) ramekins.
Carefully place the ramekins in the air fryer to fit.
Air Fry at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until nicely browned on top. In the Ninja Air Fryer, it took closer to 12 minutes.
Remove and serve with garnishes of choice.
