Air Fryer Ham is very easy to make in your Air Fryer or Ninja Foodi, it is simply being warmed up in the machine as opposed to the oven.

This recipe will use a pre-cooked boneless ham. We also used a spiral ham which is much easier to slice as it will just fall apart and can easily be pulled apart to serve.

Air Fried Ham is so simple to make and only takes about 30 minutes, we used pre-cooked ham.  It can be glazed with your choice of glaze or with brown sugar rubbed right in on top.

This ham cooks so quickly that it can easily be a weeknight dinner or served for holiday dinners, it’s completely up to you!

Tips for Making Air Fryer Ham Recipe:

If you are using the glaze that comes with the ham or your own, it is best to use aluminum foil or parchment under the ham inside the air fryer basket.  Be sure there is still room on the sides or bottom for the hot air to flow throughout the air fryer or Ninja Foodi

It’s very important to remember to make sure that your ham is already sitting on top of the aluminum foil or parchment before turning on the air fryer. The paper and foil need to be weighted down to avoid blowing into the heating element.

By using aluminum foil or parchment paper, you will also prevent your air fryer basket from getting too dirty or sticky.

There are many types of parchment paper options on Amazon too, there are different shapes that can be purchased to fit your specific air fryer.

If you are planning to use a glaze and make a glazed ham, then you must use aluminum foil under your ham to cover the basket of the air fryer. This will allow you to pour the glaze on the top of the ham and then the sticky glaze will be caught in the foil instead of the air fryer basket.

This recipe was made with a 3-pound ham; however, a larger or smaller one can be used, but it needs to fit the basket of your machine.

Remember that all air fryers tend to heat differently, so it is important to use a meat thermometer to be sure the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F.

Bone-in Ham can be used as well, simply keep the instant-read thermometer in hand to be sure to check the internal temperature.

This is a great recipe to add to your list of Ninja Foodi Recipes too!
